TV highlights

The highlight of this week’s TV was definitely the teen comedy series Awkward (the Italian’s A nerd superstar’s diary). It talked about Jenna, a teenager with love problems who had to choose between two guys. People in school teased her but she was strong and she had learned how not to listen to the others.
In Wednesday’s episode Jenna, to take a decision between two guys who she loved both, was thinking about how to change her past just imagining a different course of the events. At the end she understood that this was useless and that she had to start again and to go on without thinking about the past. She also took a decision, choosing one of the two boys.
The episode was catching and romantic; I like this series a lot because it inspires me.

The MTV EMA’s 2013 on Channel 8 was also worth watching. It was a music show with lots of famous singers who did lots of beautiful performances. In this show, singers won awards and their fans had to vote for them.
It was really interesting, because it’s been a way to know something new about today’s music and a way to improve English language.

Finally, something which also caught my eye was a quiz game called The Inheritance, where people tried to win money playing different games. At the end, just one could win. Last night a lucky man named Mark won €150.000!
It caught my attention because while I was watching it, I participated in the various games and I answered the questions, rejoicing every time I said the correct one! (Virginia)
